![]() ![]() I think CSGO in particular is so much worse than newer games due to just how much legacy information there is about how the game works. Xray clients, crosshair snapping, spinbotting, minimap hacks, etc. There will always be something that cheaters can do to give them an edge in a game like CS. Without the incentive of feeling like they didn't completely waste their money, all they'd be wasting is everyone else's time. Which means a shit load in a game like CS:GO where new players will get consistently frustrated at the learning curve. No one likes realizing they spent too much money on something or that they should have gotten something else. The fact they spent money on the product means that they will try to get the most out of it. Which sounds even more stupid I grant, but still it's simple psychology. The mere price tag of a simple $20 forces everyone who spent something on it to rationalize their purchase. Sounds stupid I accept, but it's so goddamn true. The real problem with F2P is that it lacks commitment. And none of them that I can think of was caused by an influx of cheaters, rather an influx of completely indifferent players. Though there is plenty of examples in gaming where a large title began to quickly decline after they switched to F2P. People always say it'd be a cheaters heaven and I'm sure it wouldn't help things. □ Apeks VS GamerLegion BLAST MAJOR 2023 LE. 25,614 MontanaBlack88ī Paris Major 2023 Legends Stage: A.
